Cinema is a Possibility!
Edge Films is a film production company based in Mexico City, dedicated to telling bold, original stories with distinct narrative voices, tone and innovative visual language. We champion emerging and established filmmakers who are redefining the boundaries of Latin American cinema.
Since our founding in 2017, we’ve built a diverse slate of projects that blend artistic ambition with global reach. In 2020, we premiered Modo Avião, Netflix’s first original Brazilian feature film, marking a major milestone in international streaming. In recent years, we’ve continued to gain momentum on the festival circuit with Good Savage (Tallinn Black Nights, 2023) and A History of Love and War (International Film Festival Rotterdam, 2024), both directed by Santiago Mohar Volkow. The Perfect Club by Ricardo Castro, won the Audience Award at the Austin Film Festival 2024.
In 2025, four of our feature films will have theatrical releases across Mexico, in collaboration with major distributors:
Good Savage with Corazón Films (July 17)
El Club Perfecto with Cinemex (August 28)
Una Historia de Amor y Guerra with Videocine (October 2)
No Me Sigas with Cinépolis (October/November)
Currently, Edge Films is also in post-production on:
La Peluca, directed by Emiliano Rocha Minter
Africa Express, a documentary by Emilio Guerrero Alexander
No Me Sigas, a horror film by Ximena García Lecuona and Eduardo Lecuona
At Edge Films, we are committed to producing cinematic works that are visually daring, emotionally resonant, and globally relevant.
